Hinckley Triumphs: I love 'em

This was one of Triumph's first 'new' 900 Tridents, and I used it as a work hack every day between about '96 and 2001. I probably put around 40,000 miles on it, and the only problem I encountered was with the sprag clutch – an acknowledged weakness on the early examples.

The engine was bulletproof, so I bought a Speed Triple as a work bike in Australia, and owned that for about four years between 2002 and 2006. I'd buy another one tomorrow... I'm a big fan of John Bloor's bikes (though, let's be honest, those early Tridents were butt-ugly).
