You're right about Ironhead Fever; in a pick-up, west on the M50 on Saturday we overtook a bunch of bikers. Coolest I've seen in ages; Greasy Kulturists - rigid ironheads, Triumphs, flatties -nothing newer than 1970. All the guys had mini shades and metalflake helmets, retro leather jackets - it was a sight very reminiscent of the old days of Hunter S. Thompson - 'a burst of dirty thunder...' No idea who they were - no patches but a bit like a retro chopper club... Cool as.

I have an idea who they were...

I haven't had to worry about getting custom bike features in magazines for years but after we passed them I kept thinking how a tracking shot from the back of the pick-up of them all in the sunshine would have been a great opening spread shot... Old habits die hard. Caz
