During my twenty year meandering journey down the path of Harley-Davidson self-education, from sticking Live To Ride emblems on my Sportster to publishing a motorcycle magazine, this UL was a major milestone.
I had no idea what it was. I just knew it elicited some sort of raw emotional response in me. Basket-weave oil tank, noted. White kicker pedal, noted. Dog chain to actuate clutch, noted.
This stuff was starting to seep through.
