Always knew she'd make it big

When I first saw The Loveless (25 years ago?) I was blown away by the production design, but also by Kathryn Bigelow's still and intense direction. I knew she'd go on to bigger and even better things, and Point Break also became a favourite movie of mine.

Very cool she got Best Director and Movie at the Oscars yesterday... looking forward to seeing The Hurt Locker.

    OH MAN, The Hurt Locker is great, very intense. I still cant believe such a pro-military flick won Best Pic. I never knew KB did The Loveless. Great stuff.

    Hurt locker was rad but the Loveless was a killer flick and my favorite of all tome daddio!

    The movie can be had on DVD over at eBay, it will run ya about 10 backs delivered.. great flick..
